Costen-Turner Recreation Area
This expanse of land is named for Lt. Tom Costen and Lt. Charlie Turner of VA-155, whose A-6 Intruder was shot down over Iraq on the first night of Desert Storm. The park was dedicated in 1995.

Nestled in the foothills of the North Cascades, Jim Creek serves as a Naval Radio Station and regional outdoor recreation facility for active-duty service members, Reservists, retired military, DoD civilians and sponsored guests.
