Due to overnight snowfall and the hazardous driving conditions in the local community, NAS Whidbey Island is shifting to Mission-Essential personnel ONLY..
- The CYP will open at 8:30 a.m. for Mission-Essential Personnel only.
- Admiral Nimitz Hall Galley will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner to support MEP and Sailors living on base.
- All other Fleet & Family Readiness programs, including the fitness center, are closed.
- Charles Porter Gate is open. Saratoga Gate will open at 9 a.m.

[Monday, Dec 19 | 3 p.m.]:
Current weather forecasts call for an accumulation of snowfall and freezing temperatures this evening into tomorrow. NAS Whidbey Island will initiate a 2-hour delayed opening for base services on Tuesday, Dec. 20. The only exception is Admiral Nimitz Hall Galley, which will operate on its normal schedule.
Child Development Centers will open their doors at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow for children.
