Winter trips are BACK at NAS Whidbey Island Community Recreation! Brush off those snow boots and bundle up for some winter fun.
Experience the beauty and tranquility of the mountains without having to drive yourself. Join the Community Recreation team on one of our shuttles to various ski areas in the Cascade Mountains. Whether you're a beginning snowboarder or an expert skier we will get you to the ski area hassle free!
Be sure to dress accordingly. We recommend you bring a waterproof jacket, pants, gloves or mittens, beanie or helmet, goggles, non-cotton layers, NO JEANS, wool or synthetic socks, change of clothes, and sunscreen. New to the winter weather? Let the Community Recreation outdoor rentals keep you warm, stop by the outdoor rentals at the Convergence Zone to rent snow bibs, pants, boots, snow shoes, coats, and more for the whole family!
Don't have ski or snowboard gear? No sweat, the mountain rental shop offers military discounts that will get you equipped and on the mountain in no time. Lift tickets can be purchased at the resort or from the resort's website.
