CHILD AND YOUTH PROGRAMS (CYP)
UPDATED 3/21: Beginning March 23, 2020, Regatta CDC and Clover CDC will operate out of Regatta CDC until further notice. If you have any questions, please speak to your center director. The Youth Center will continue operations at the Youth Center.

Navy Childcare programs are a critical need for our Service members who need childcare to go to work every day serving our nation both at home and abroad. The health, safety, and welfare of our CYP personnel and the children they care for is our top priority. We are adapting our operations to meet both the Navy’s mission and family requirements while ensuring children in our care and our professionals are healthy and safe.

We continue to operate the Child Development Center (CDC), Child Development Home (CDH) and School Age Care (SAC) programs. As of tomorrow, Tuesday, 17 March, School Age Care (SAC) will transition to the full-time program. Effective immediately, the following Child and Youth Programs are cancelled/postponed until further notice:

-All Hourly Childcare (unless emergency);
-All Youth Sports, Youth/Teen Programs, Field Trips away from Navy Childcare facilities;
-No New Childcare enrollees into Navy operated programs (unless emergency);
-Parent fees will be waived/saved space for all personnel who implement new Navy telework agreement that temporarily allows parents to work from home while caring for their dependent children;
-Parent fees will be waived/saved space for all personnel who elect to voluntarily withdrawal their child for at least two weeks or until May 1, 2020;

Other curtailments of operations may be necessary as our situation evolves and we will communicate those as needed. If needed, we will prioritize childcare services to support mission essential personnel such as first responders and healthcare staff.

Please work with the CDC staff to discuss your individual situation.
