NAS Whidbey Island will join Navy installations worldwide for the 10th annual Bells Across America for Fallen Service Members Ceremony to honor those who died on active duty.
This memorial event is a way for the NAS Whidbey Island community to honor and remember the sacrifice of our fallen service members and the loved ones they left behind. Bells will be tolled in order to commemorate the life and service of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in defending our nation. This event is open and free to all members of our military community, whether you have a fallen loved one or would like to pay respects to fallen service members. Join us on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. in the CPO Club Bakerview Ballroom for the beginning of our ceremony. Light refreshments will follow at 10 a.m.
