Oyster Dome Trail Hike

Oyster Dome Trail Hike

Saturday, April 27

Departs 9 am-4pm

$16 per person, price includes trail snack, and hiking gear.

The Oyster Dome Trail is very popular among new and experienced hikers alike due to its moderately difficult nature from its start near the shoreline off Chuckanut Drive to its end at almost 2000 feet of elevation at the top of the aptly-named Oyster Dome, with its spectacular views of the Skagit Flats, the San Juans, and even the Olympics far in the distance. This is also a great training hike for our other hikes as well as our summit climbs such as Mount St. Helens because of the varied terrain and the skills that can be practiced to efficiently complete the hike. As a result, this hike is a great way to learn new skills, polish learned techniques, and or to simply enjoy a nice stroll through the forests of the Chuckanut Mountains that gets one’s heartrate going!
