Location: NAS Whidbey Island Gallery Golf Course
Pay Grade: NF-0302-01
This position is located in the Fleet and Family Readiness Division at Navy Region Northwest NAS Whidbey Island. Employee privileges include access to base facilities such as gyms, recreation centers, restaurants, and discount tickets to sporting and entertainment events.
Summary of Duties: Incumbent’s primary duties are the delivery of food and refreshment items and incidental food handling. Responsibilities include ensuring that beverage cart vehicle is properly maintained according to station safety and accounting documents for all sales and vehicle usage. Responsibilities included preparation of food/beverages according to portion control standards. Incumbent serves patrons in a friendly and timely manner. Incumbent collects and accounts for cash sales and ensures adequate change fund is on hand following procedures for safeguarding/accounting for cash. May assist in general housekeeping of assigned areas. Incumbent is required to provide customer satisfaction and contribute positively to the success and profitability of the organization. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Incumbent must have working knowledge of cash register operation and sales. Must be neat in appearance with ability to work with the public.
Conditions of Employment: Successful completion of National Agency (NACI) background check required. Available for varying shifts to include some nights, weekends, and holiday may be required. Incumbent required attendance of sanitation training course to obtain valid health card. Incumbent must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid state driver’s license and have a good driving record.
